About Lido IDR
Lido IDR files and wins No Surprises Act arbitration disputes for out-of-network providers. We charge a flat fee per filing, the award is entirely yours, and everything we claim about the process is checkable against public government data, most of it on our own site.
Who is behind this? Lido IDR is built and operated by Lido, a software company whose platform turns documents into structured, verified data for businesses. Federal IDR filing is, underneath the legal wrapper, a documents-and-deadlines problem: eligibility checks, batching rules, timelines, and evidence packets. That is the work our software was built for.
What we do
We run the federal independent dispute resolution process for provider groups, start to finish: checking which claims qualify under the No Surprises Act, building batches that maximize what one arbitration fee covers, tracking every deadline and cooling-off window per payer and code, assembling the offer and evidence, and filing through the federal portal. Software does the repetitive parts. People review what goes out the door.
We price it as a flat fee per filing rather than a percentage of your award, because the process is now standardized enough that charging 15 to 35 percent of recoveries is hard to justify. The reasoning is laid out on the pricing page.
Where the data comes from
CMS publishes the outcome of every decided federal IDR dispute in its public use files. We pulled in all of it, 3.39 million disputes from 2023 through 2025, and publish our analysis at idrexplorer.com: win rates, award multiples, payer behavior, and per-group filing records. The headline numbers we cite across this site come from that work. Providers prevailed in 85.8 percent of decided disputes, the median award was about 4.7 times the qualifying payment amount, and decisions took a median of 37 days.
The same dataset powers the free NSA audit: we benchmark your specialty, state, and payers against the full public record, including your own filing history if your group has one, with no patient or claims data required.
How we work
- Flat fee, aligned incentives. We get paid for filings done well, not a cut of your awards. Our incentive is to file every claim worth filing, not just the big easy ones.
- Public data, shown openly. Our numbers cite the CMS public use files, and you can check them yourself on idrexplorer.com before you ever talk to us.
- Software first, reviewed by people. Eligibility, batching, and deadlines are handled in software because spreadsheets drop claims. Filings are reviewed before submission.
- No patient data at intake. Audits and quotes are built from public data plus your answers. We do not want claims files or patient information at this stage.
